Maryborough holds one of Victoria's finest collections of Victorian-era gold rush architecture. Mark Twain famously called our railway station "a train station with a town attached."
Built in 1890–92, this magnificent bluestone and red brick station is one of Victoria's finest examples of Victorian railway architecture. Mark Twain visited in 1895 and made his famous quip about its grandeur.

Maryborough is served by V/Line coach and rail connections. The town's magnificent 1892 station remains an icon of the region. Services run via Ballarat with connections to Melbourne's Southern Cross Station.
